The Michigan High School Democrats were on the edge of a slippery slope after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down youth organizing. Developing a universal outreach program, I was able to effectively and efficiently build the first and strongest development team in MIHSD history. Together, we have used our resources to put us back on track, and bring MIHSD back to the table. 

Over the past 6 months, Michigan has been able to increase and improve relationships with our HSDA counterparts across the nation. From Florida to Connecticut, our connections grow and thrive on the daily. While fighting back against horrible National leadership, under my direction Michigan joined a coalition of states fighting for what's right.

With the rollout of our new regional directors, and the shiny new development team, I worked hard to ensure every member had the opportunity to belong to a local IN-PERSON chapter. I expanded the organization from a total shutdown to the number 1 state (in pure growth) nation wide. We are made it easier than ever to become a member of the rapidly growing Michigan High School Democrats. Our new regional directors ensure there are no issues, from Ann Arbor to Holland. 

A key priority - stop the independent ultra shy messaging. On my first day as Chairman Elect, I contacted leaders of the Michigan Democratic Party, College Democrats of Michigan, and the Michigan Young Democrats. By bridging the gap between organizations, MIHSD expanded exponentially and became a permanent powerhouse among other youth organizations within the state.
